What is Velora?
A quick overview of what Velora does and how it fits into your week.
Velora is a smart Bible app built around one idea: helping you get more out of the sermons and Bible teaching you already hear in your own church.
At the center of Velora is Relay, our live sermon companion. Start a Relay as your pastor begins speaking, and Velora listens along with you. It transcribes the message in real time and identifies Scripture references as they're read, quoted, or alluded to—so the right passage appears in your Bible reader right when you need it, without you having to flip pages or search for it yourself.
When the message ends, Relay delivers three things:
A clean, formatted transcript of the message
A timeline of every reference it identified or suggested
An AI-generated summary of the sermon
From there, you can read, export, or share sermons any time, and use Ask Velora to reflect on what you’ve heard or generate sermon-based resources. Since your sermon library lives within your Bible app, as you use Velora you’ll be building a personalized, AI-native study Bible of your own church’s teaching.
We created Velora because we believe the weekly preaching of the Word deserves to be the centerpiece of your week, not just another piece of content that you don’t remember by Wednesday. Everything in the app is designed to help you pay closer attention on Sunday and internalize what you hear.
