The Ask Velora chat is now Velora AI, a powerful all-purpose AI assistant rooted in your own church’s teaching and ready to help you apply it to all of life.

What’s new

Velora AI: Powerful new capabilities for every day

Quick access from anywhere in the app

It is now much easier to open Velora AI when you need it. You can even ask about the chapter you have open or a passage you have selected in the Bible reader—with one tap, the text is automatically added to the chat’s context.

Similarly, when viewing a past relay, tap the input with Ask about this relay and the relay will automatically be added to the primary context.

The new input not only makes it easy to start a new chat, it also pins your current chat—so you can more easily switch between viewing a relay or Scripture and chatting about it.

Search the web

Velora can now search the web for richer and more current answers to everyday questions—even as it still prioritizes Scripture and your past relays when providing spiritual answers.

Linked sources are clearly displayed inline (and as preview cards where appropriate) so you can always see where the answers are drawn from.

Try it: Tap ‘Today’s news’ in the AI chat for a briefing of current events. Unlike other AI apps, Velora helps you think through news through the lens of your own pastor’s Bible teaching.

Attach images and files to your prompts

You can now attach images and files to your Velora AI messages. Velora can read the image and answer your questions about it.

Try it: After church, try taking a photo of your pastor’s printed sermon outline in the AI chat. Then type ‘@’ to mention the sermon relay and ask Velora to generate full study notes structured around the outline.

Longer, more detailed responses when appropriate

Velora automatically selects the best AI model for your prompt, and it has access to powerful frontier models for complex reasoning.
